Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
“Produced between 2000- 2016, the demand for these previous generation Daytona’s is as high as it’s ever been and this zero milage example is ready to be enjoyed or tucked away in the safe for another decade.”
The Rolex Daytona was designed in 1963 as the ultimate timing tool for endurance racing drivers and is arguably the most iconic timepiece of all time, with its famous racing case silhouette and striking, contrasting dial. This reference 116520 was introduced in 2000 with Rolex’s very first in-house chronograph movement, the fully-integrated cal.4130, incidentally also the brand’s first completely new in-house movement in over 50 years. A perfect blend of vintage aesthetic and up-to-date engineering, the 116520 features the historic steel bezel, a robust, masculine, ready-for-anything look that made the Daytona man’s best friend. The highly-legible, glossy black dial and silver-ringed metallic sub-dials, combined with the polished lugs, bezel, and central bracelet links combine for an unmistakably ‘Rolex’ allure, and the versatile styling makes for a piece suited to all occasions.
