Its predecessor, the 116515LN, was the first to ever feature a Cerachrom ceramic bezel, a Rolex patent which is resistant to scratches and fading, as well as one of the first Daytonas in Everose gold, a gorgeous elusive pink colour exclusive to Rolex and forged from their secret blend of gold, copper and platinum. Unlike other rose golds it will never fade, making Everose pieces the most sought-after Daytonas. This model’s ‘bright black’ dial complements the black ceramic bezel - with its new addition of a tachymeter scale - perfectly, with applied rose gold hour markers, hands and dial text, as well as engine-turned ‘sundust’ sub-dials to add stylish contrast and legibility.
