Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Zenith
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Zenith
"An absolute beauty. The condition of the case is exquisite - I’ve rarely seen such a stunning example." Nick Baranga, Founder
With its striking, contrasting dial and famous racing case silhouette, the Rolex Daytona is the most iconic watch ever produced, and the rare neo-vintage model in yellow gold is a favourite with collectors worldwide, as its desirability seems to grow year on year. The 16528 is distinguishable as a Zenith Daytona from its sub-seconds at the 9 o’clock position, and this particular specimen is truly exceptional, with its correct 78398 bracelet and crisp white, famous “inverted 6” dial, only produced between 1990 and 1993 (although this watch eventually left the boutique in 1996) and defined by the digit “6” present at 6 o'clock of the subsidiary dial being printed upside down, thus resembling a 9. Elegant and instantly recognisable, the watch is substantial with a powerful presence on the wrist, and in this magnificent condition is increasingly rare.
Condition Report:
Just back from a Rolex service, the mechanical running of the watch is as good as new. The case and bracelet are in exceptional condition, and it’s likely the watch's case has never been refinished. It comes complete with its original box, booklets, swing tags, service card and original guarantee papers, and remains under Rolex's international warranty until 2024.
