The Oyster Perpetual can trace its roots to 1926, when Rolex released the first “Oyster” (waterproof) watch. Almost a century later, this line is ever-present in the catalogue of the world’s most famous watchmaking company, and this year saw the release of a watch Rolex has named “The Celebration”, blending all the bold, modern colours of their new 41mm lacquered dial pieces into one explosive dial. With turquoise blue as the base colour, the foreground features 51 differently-sized black-fringed bubbles, in candy pink, yellow, coral red and green. The white hour indexes keep the watch highly-legible, and double hash markers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock have been added for a beautifully balanced structure that provides a platform for the bubbles to truly pop. In Rolex’s patented Oystersteel, an alloy commonly used in high-technology and aeronautics, the watch’s case and bracelet are resistant to corrosion, as well as being stunningly finished and exceptionally robust. Fitted with a new-generation movement, the powerhouse cal.3230, the Celebration is fit for any party.

Unworn, the watch comes complete with its box, Rolex Guarantee Card, leather guarantee card holder, booklets, and both swing tags, and remains under Rolex’s international warranty until 2028.
