Part of the “Holy Trinity” of watchmaking alongside Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin has been at the pinnacle of horology for several decades. In 1977, the brand released a 222nd anniversary sports watch, marking the origin of this Perpetual Calendar ref.4300V, launched in 2020. Its 41.5mm, 18k white gold case and integrated bracelet display a fluted bezel and geometric links, beautifully echoing the shape of the Maltese Cross, Vacheron’s emblem, whilst at only 8.1mm thick, the watch is aesthetically sleek and stylish. The brushed and polished finishing is immaculate, as is the breathtaking blue-accented skeletonised dial, on which is displayed the time, day, date, month and moonphase with two gold moons, whose “sky blends into the blue hue of the dial,” in Vacheron’s words, housed in a gorgeous translucent two-layer sub-display. As a perpetual calendar, once wound the watch will remain accurate until the year 2100. Its spare leather strap can be swapped for the white gold bracelet in seconds without needing tools, a unique, convenient and innovative design feature. As a final flourish, the new in-house 1120QPSQ/1 movement is displayed through the sapphire caseback. The complete package, with impeccable taste.

Condition Report:

In excellent condition, the watch comes with its original box, booklets, warranty card and spare blue leather strap, and remains under Vacheron Constantin’s international warranty until 2024.
