With the past five years worth of hype mostly surrounding the “Patek Philippe Nautilus” and more specifically, the 5711, it is no surprise that these ladies-variants of the Nautilus have followed in suit of popularity. In addition to this, it happens to be this steel, blue-dialled and diamond factory-set bezel variant which tops the charts with regards to its desirability. Described as “blue opaline” by Patek themselves, the dial is one that must be seen to be appreciated - showcasing rich tones and perfect symmetry with its date window at the 6 o’clock. The steel bracelet comes with a fold-over clasp, paired with a new adjustment system, providing the wearer with between 2 and 4 mm of extra bracelet length for increased comfort. Fitted with the exact same calibre as its larger unisex reference and at just 35.2mm in case size, the watch has an elegant charm to it and size-wise, is very reminiscent of early mid-size Nautilus’ (such as our recently sold 3800/1A). Along with Patek’s incredibly low production numbers, the percentages of their total output when looking at both steel and in particular, steel Nautilus’, the numbers really are low and we are very pleased to have one of the only physical examples of this watch in the world today available now.

Retailed within the final two months of 2020, this most-desirable variant of the ladies’ Nautilus is looking like it did when it left the Patek factory earlier this year. Unworn, and ready for its new owner, the watch comes as a fully complete set with its polished wood box, leather folder, booklets and Certificate of Origin, placing the watch under Patek Philippe international warranty until November 2022.
