At 41mm, the updated, modern-sized case enables the date window to return to its original position of 1972, rooting the watch in history. Described as “monochromatic” due to its steely, metallic aesthetic throughout, the 15510 features white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands, on a grey Grande Tapisserie dial which is cut using a 100-year-old pantograph, a technique unique to Audemars Piguet. This ensures different tones depending on angle, in keeping with its immaculate satin brushed case and integrated bracelet, unrivalled in the way they play with light. The impeccable brushed and polished finishing of the original 1972 Royal Oak remains the same today, and the AP signature double deployant clasp ensures superlative comfort.
