Originally expected to be launched in 2013 to coincide with the line’s 50th anniversary, collectors were desperate for an updated, pure steel Daytona, making this edition one of the hardest to get hold of. With its renowned 40mm case, in-house cal.4130 movement and trademark immaculate finishing and precision, this model is very much an evolution rather than a revolution, with the star of the watch being the Cerachrom bezel with platinum PVD treatment. Rolex’s patented ceramic is essentially scratchproof and immune to fading, meaning the watch should retain the same glossy appearance decades from now. In immaculate condition, the watch comes complete with its box, Rolex Guarantee Card, leather guarantee card holder and booklets. Having been serviced by Rolex in 2023, the watch remains under Rolex’s international warranty until 2025.
