The Rolex Daytona was designed in 1963 as the ultimate timing tool for endurance racing drivers and is arguably the most iconic timepiece of all time, with its famous racing case silhouette and striking, contrasting dial. This reference 116509 was introduced in 2016 with Rolex’s in-house chronograph movement, the fully-integrated cal.4130, incidentally also the brand’s first completely new in-house movement in over 50 years. The watch is in lightly worn condition, albeit retaining most of its original factory stickers. It comes complete with its box, booklets, Rolex guarantee card, leather card holder, manual, green Rolex swing tag and white serial number swing tag.
