One of Rolex’s great classics, the GMT-Master is arguably the world’s most famous travel watch. In the 1950s, with commercial flights booming, Pan-Am partnered with Rolex to develop a watch for its pilots that could display the time in more than one time zone. This collaboration resulted in one of today’s most collectible and iconic watches, quickly picked up by NASA, the US Air Force and business travellers. It is the first new steel GMT-Master since 1989 to feature the “Pepsi” colours, as well as the first to feature Rolex’s scratch-and-fadeproof Cerachrom bezel insert. Worn by Che Guevara throughout the Cuban Revolution, the Pepsi GMT-Master is a true legend of horological history.
