Inspired by a traditional diver’s helmet, Gérald Genta’s Royal Oak is the original luxury sports watch and holds legendary status on its 50th anniversary. This 15300OR retains the 39mm case sizing of the original Royal Oak, but with a satin-brushed case crafted from sumptuous 18k pink gold. Its famous octagonal bezel reflects light from all angles with a unique beauty, as does the black Grande Tapisserie dial, cut using a 100-year old pantograph technique, unique to Audemars Piguet. The pink gold hour markers make for a sophisticated colour scheme, with the unmistakable AP logo at 12 o’clock, a distinct trait of the 15300. The watch was created with an alligator leather Audemars Piguet strap, a rarity for the Royal Oak and a choice designed to give this model a stylish, refined aesthetic, as well as increased wearability. Unlike many Royal Oak movements, the cal. 3120 movement is made in-house and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback. A high-class, chic edition of an historic timepiece.

Condition Report:

In excellent overall condition, the watch comes with its original polished wood box, undated papers (the F serial), manuals and extra Audemars Piguet strap in black alligator leather. A full manufactures service was carried out in March of 2022.
