Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak
In April 1972, Gérald Genta was given just one night to come up with a revolutionary luxury sports watch in stainless steel. Inspired by a traditional diver’s helmet, the result was the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, one of the most iconic watches of all time and as in-demand as ever as it passes its 50th anniversary. This ref. 56175ST features the classic elements that have given the design such iconic stature, including the Tapisserie dial, the integrated bracelet, and the iconic octagonal case. At 33mm the watch can be worn by both men and women, and wears larger than its size suggests thanks to its sharp angles and elongated lugs. Its immaculate satin brushed case and integrated bracelet reflect even the smallest amount of light with a unique beauty, whilst its rich, deep blue “Petite Tapisserie” dial is cut using a 100-year old pantograph technique unique to Audemars Piguet. Just back from a full factory service, the watch features a new bracelet, movement, dial and crown, and consequently is in impeccable condition. A stunning companion for daily wear.
