Rolex GMT-Master II, Meteorite Dial
Rolex GMT-Master II, Meteorite Dial
“The fact that each of these meteorite dials is entirely unique makes what is already an incredible watch even more special, and on this particular watch is the finest I’ve seen.” Nick Baranga, Founder
When introduced in 2019, although used in other watches, it was the first time that Rolex had put a stone dial in a GMT-Master II. Rolex’s meteorite is sourced from their procured slice of the Gibeon Meteorite, which landed in Namibia from outer space before being discovered in 1836. The Gibeon has since been protected by law, meaning these watches are extremely limited and highly sought-after, and with the pattern on these dials being completely naturally occurring, no two Rolex meteorites will ever appear exactly the same. Aside from its attention-grabbing dial, the watch is crafted entirely in 18ct white gold, giving it tremendous weight and presence on the wrist and making it one of the most unusual and aesthetically pleasing watches ever manufactured.
