Much like the Porsche 911, the Rolex Submariner has followed in a similar trajectory with regards to “improving” rather than radical changes. Introduced in 1953 and remaining an icon throughout this entire lifespan, the latest and greatest Submariner comes in a 41mm case and is simply perfect. Seen here with the date and in 18ct yellow gold, there is just something so, so cool about a solid gold dive watch. The watch is available with both a black dial and bezel insert, as well as with a rich blue dial and bezel variant. It is however the black variant seen here which is proving to be one of the most popular Submariner offerings from the newly-updated line. Fitted with the now-updated in-house calibre 3235 movement, the watch now boasts a power reserve of 70 hours, and with its 300m’s worth of water resistance, the watch is fit for almost anything you could throw at it. In unworn condition, the watch in question comes to us like it left the factory in Geneva. Fully complete with its full array of accessories and original large Rolex box, the watch remains under international warranty until June 2026.
